Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join the Community Falls Team in Solihull. The role focuses on holistic falls assessments, home visits, and multi-disciplinary collaboration to reduce falls and hospital admissions.

You will support students and junior staff, contribute to seven-day programmes, and participate in service development within UHB. Part-time (33 hours) with flexible working is available.

Qualifications

• HCPC/RCOT registered OT with UK registration.
• Experience with frail/elderly patients in community/home settings.
• Post-registration CPD or qualification relevant to banding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy within the Falls Team across Solihull.
• Undertake holistic multidisciplinary assessments and falls risk interventions.
• Triage and co-ordination within the team; seven-day working programme contributions.
• Support students and junior staff and contribute to training and audit.
