Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join the Specialist Community Falls Team based in Solihull Hospital.

You will deliver holistic, multifactorial falls assessments in patients’ homes, support community colleagues, and contribute to seven-day working and service development. Part-time 33 hours per week, with focus on training and student supervision.

Qualifications

• HCPC/CSP/RCOT registration is essential.
• Experience with frail/elderly patients is essential.
• Post-registration CPD or qualification in a relevant area is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, multi-factorial falls assessments in patients' homes and care homes.
• Link with the Falls Team and BSOL network to reduce future fall risk.
• Triaging referrals, conducting telephone assessments, and supporting students and junior staff.
