DCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced FAIR Inspector/Engineer for its Greater Manchester manufacturing facility. The role focuses on compiling, reviewing and submitting full and delta FAIRs to ensure components meet drawings, specifications and quality standards.

You will inspect sheet metal and machined components, interpret engineering drawings, use Keyence and CMM equipment, and contribute to non-conformance/MRB processes within a QMS/IMS framework.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ FAIR compilation experience in metallic manufacturing.
• Experience compiling full and delta FAIRs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of aerospace/defence quality standards.
• Understanding of QMS/IMS and non-conformance/MRB processes.
• Experience using hand tools, Keyence and CMM.

Responsabilités

• Compile, review and submit full and delta FAIRs.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Inspect sheet metal, machined components.
• Use inspection equipment including hand tools, Keyence and CMM.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and QA documentation.
• Follow QMS/IMS procedures and 5S, health & safety standards.
