Bec Recruitment are recruiting an experienced FAIR Inspector / Engineer to join our client’s engineering organisation in Greater Manchester. The role focuses on compiling, reviewing and submitting full and delta FAIRs to ensure components meet drawings and quality standards.

You will read engineering drawings, inspect sheet metal and machined parts, use hand tools, Keyence and CMM equipment, and support MRB and non-conformance processes within a QMS framework.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' FAIR compilation in a metallic manufacturing environment.
• Experience compiling full and delta FAIRs.
• Understanding of sheet metal and/or machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/specifications.
• Knowledge of aerospace and/or defence quality standards.
• Understanding of QMS/IMS and non-conformance/MRB processes.
• Experience using inspection equipment (hand tools, Keyence, and/or CMM).
• Good IT skills including Microsoft applications and FAIR software.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Time-served inspection background advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Compile, review and submit full and delta FAIRs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect sheet metal, machined and/or turned components.
• Use inspection equipment including hand tools, Keyence and CMM.
• Support non-conformance and MRB processes.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Work in accordance with QMS/IMS procedures.
• Follow 5S, quality and health & safety standards.
