Responsibilities

• Coordinate a supported re-integration programme for return to mainstream school or alternative provision for permanently excluded children and those missing education under the Fair Access Protocol.
• Liaise with receiving schools to ensure prompt admission for pupils under the Fair Access Protocol.
• Be responsible for the administration of Fair Access Protocols, Children Missing Education and Exclusions for the local authority.
• Actively promote inclusion for vulnerable children who are educationally and socially excluded.
