Job summary

360 Recruitment is seeking a Factory Technical Manager to provide day-to-day technical leadership at the site, ensuring food safety, quality and customer requirements are met. You will own the HACCP system and stay current, effective and validated.

You will lead investigations into incidents and deviations, maintain the Quality Management System, ensure specifications and procedures are up to date, and manage customer technical queries within agreed timescales.

Qualifications

• Experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience of HACCP & TACCP.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership for the factory, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, legal and customer requirements.
• Own and maintain the site's HACCP system, ensuring it remains current, effective, and appropriately validated.
• Lead investigations into food safety incidents, deviations, and potential product contamination.
• Maintain and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure specifications, procedures, work instructions, and quality standards are maintained.
• Manage customer technical queries, complaints, and requests within agreed timescales.
• Maintain the site in a state of continuous audit readiness.
