• Develop good working relationships with operations, production, and other departments.
• Carry out quality checks to maintain food safety controls.
• Lead a proactive, employee-engaging problem-solving culture.
• Support projects and improvement activities.
• Act as deputy to the Technical Manager for QA activities.

Job description

Objective:

• To develop good working relationships with operations, production and other departments.
• To carry out quality checks and related tasks on a routine basis and maintain food safety controls through direct policing and immediate corrective action.
• Lead and develop a pro‑active and employee engaging, problem‑solving attitude in the workplace.
• Support projects & improvement activities.
• Deputy to Technical Manager for factory related QA activities.

Performance measures:

• Completion of tasks against an agreed work schedule.
• Development of good working relationships with all staff at all levels.
• Implementation of preventative actions.
• Improving efficiencies and hygiene in the production environment.

Desirable skills and experience:
