Job Title: Production Line Operative

Join our team at Greencore, a leading UK manufacturer of convenience foods, as a Production Line Operative. We supply major supermarkets such as Sainsbury's, Aldi, and Co-op with high-quality chilled ready-to-cook meals.

Working Hours and Pay

Shift: 4on4off, 07:00-19:00 (may start at 6:45am)
Pay: £13.19 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

• Servicing the production line with materials according to the schedule to prevent downtime.
• Informing the Production Supervisor of any raw material availability issues.
• Communicating with production managers and coordinators.
• Locating, batching, and transporting raw materials for production.
• Ensuring correct coding and shelf life of materials.
• Managing materials during changeovers and topping up stock.
• Adhering to HACCP and H&S procedures.
• Maintaining accuracy and speed in your work.
• Working as part of a team, following instructions, and spotting problems.

What We're Looking For

Full training will be provided, but ideally you will have:

• Prior experience as a machine operator.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty and high-speed machinery.
• Ability to use measurement tools.
• Understanding of production procedures and safety regulations.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and handbooks.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
