Job summary

Bidfresh Limited is seeking a Factory Operative for the night shift at Kingfisher Brixham to help pick, pack and prepare seafood orders with accuracy and care.

You will work in the freezer department, maintain high hygiene standards, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely dispatch and quality control. Training and PPE are provided; overtime may be required during busy periods for overall team success.

We're looking for a Factory Operative to join our night shift team at Kingfisher Brixham.

We're proud to supply some of the UK's best chefs, restaurants, pubs, hotels and caterers with fresh fish and seafood sourced from Brixham and beyond. Behind every customer order is a team of hardworking people, making sure products are picked, packed and prepared accurately and on time. This is a hands‑on role where you'll play an important part in keeping our operation running smoothly. Working within our freezer department, you'll help ensure customer orders are packed accurately, safely and to the high standards we're known for.

What You'll Be Doing

Order Preparation & Accuracy

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure products are handled correctly and packed to the required standards
• Check orders for accuracy before dispatch

About You

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. • Flexibility during busy periods when overtime may be required. We aim to finish at 2am, but busy periods see later finishes for the full team.

Bonus (but not essential)

• Previous warehouse, factory, production or food manufacturing experience
• Experience working within chilled, frozen or food handling environments
• Experience working night shifts
• No previous seafood experience is required. We'll provide full training and support. What matters most is your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
