Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the Arbroath area seeks dedicated Factory Operatives for a temporary Sept–Dec assignment. Roles involve feeding product into machinery, heavy lifting, palletising and quality checks, with daily hours 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday.

Candidates should be physically fit, have factory experience, and show attention to detail. Driving license is a bonus; team or independent work is acceptable. Equal opportunities employer.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit due to manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Experience in a factory environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative; driving license beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Feed product into machinery with speed and accuracy.
• Heavy lifting and palletising of final product.
• Quality check products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of the working area and complete required documentation.
• Raise discrepancies/faults in materials, machinery or final product with the appropriate person(s).
• Support in other areas as required.

Search Recruitment are working with their client based in the Arbroath area who are looking for dedicated, motivated and reliable Factory Operatives to join their team.

• Monday - Friday, 0800-1700
• Temp contract: Sept - Dec
• Feed product in to machinery with speed and accuracy
• Heavy lifting
• Quality check product to ensure it meets requirements
• Palletise and wrap final product ready for shipping
• Maintain cleanliness of the working area
• Complete any documentation required
• Raise any discrepancies/faults in materials, machinery or final product with the appropriate person(s)
• To support in other areas as required

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Physical fitness due to manual aspect and heavy lifting involved
• Experience working in a factory environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team or alone using initiative to identify what needs done
• Driving license beneficial but not essential
