An exciting role for a Factory Maintenance person has opened up at a market leading local company.

A general experience of maintenance work is required for this role. A background in plumbing, carpentry, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering will be an advantage for this role.

Duties of this job will include:

•Carrying out installations, renovations, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance, as directed.

•Good knowledge of mechanical disciplines, fixing any machines which have broken down, understanding of working to PPM's.

•Basic understanding of electrical safety and understanding of 3 phase motors & pumps would be advantageous.

•Fabrication knowledge/experience would be preferred, (Use of welders, grinders, knowledge & experience in using power tools etc.)

•You will also maintain the site and building - any plumbing knowledge/experience advantageous but not essential. General maintenance jobs will be a part of your daily work.

•Ensuring that all works are conducted in line with risk assessments and relevant regulations including Working at Height, COSSH, and Manual Handling

Hours to be worked are 8am - 4pm Monday- Friday, 40hrs a week - £13.02p/h, overtime rate £17.32ph (after 8hrs per day/40hrs per week).

Willing to be flexible as you may be required to work late finishes & weekends on some occasions.
