Job summary

Refresco Beverages in Bridgwater is seeking a dynamic Factory Engineering Manager to lead engineering excellence across the site. You will shape maintenance, compliance and CAPEX strategies, develop tools and ensure high performance while driving safety and value creation.

The role leads a skilled engineering team, reduces downtime on critical utilities, manages budgets, and deputizes for the Engineering Manager while driving training and talent development for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Understanding of PLCs and high-end automation to support engineering function.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of engineering tools, maintenance systems and compliance strategies.
• Drive down downtime and improve site performance through CAPEX and asset care.
• Manage day-to-day line management of direct reports and budget for Factory Engineering.
• Deputize for the Engineering Manager when required and support training and talent development.
• Support HSE compliance through audits and scheduled maintenance planning.
