Job summary

Intersurgical invites applications for a Buildings Project Co-ordinator on a 14-month maternity cover contract, based at our Wokingham Headquarters. The role focuses on coordinating construction activities for a new factory build, ensuring work is safe, efficient and aligned with project requirements.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, liaise with contractors and staff, and support planning across interconnected departments, maintaining CAD updates and a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Manager or Project Co-ordinator.
• Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Experience managing construction or building sites.
• Understanding of budget management.
• Ability to update 2D CAD drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities, tasks, contractors and staff.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and procedures.
• Maintain contractor controls across the site.
• Support the planning and organisation of capital construction projects.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures.
• Purchase building materials as required.
• Update 2D CAD drawings.
• Promote a safety-first approach on site.
