Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a Plymouth-based construction business for a Project Coordinator on a 12-15 month maternity cover contract. The role involves coordinating a range of construction projects, ensuring materials, labour, documentation and schedules are managed efficiently.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, suppliers and subcontractors, helping keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Administrator in construction.
• Procurement experience within construction preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage project and site documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, labour and equipment.
• Raise purchase orders and schedule deliveries.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and site teams.
• Prepare and maintain project, Health & Safety and compliance documentation.
• Produce weekly project updates and meeting minutes.
• Process invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Support project handovers and archive completed projects.
• Arrange travel and accommodation for site personnel when required.
