Job summary

React Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Factory Cleaner Operative to cover annual leave at New Hythe Business Park (ME20). The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm (37.5 hours/week), with a rate of £13.50 per hour paid PAYE weekly.

Boots or shoes and appropriate workwear are required, with the ability to lift up to 30 kg. Responsibilities include site maintenance, general cleaning of non-office areas, waste disposal, and responding to spillages requiring deep cleans.

The Factory Cleaner Operative will –

• Maintenance tasks both inside and outside the building (general site upkeep-cutting of hedges, weed control and general grounds care etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness across non-office areas including walkways, platforms, and walls.
• Manage waste disposal: empty bins and ensure correct allocation and segregation.
• Respond to site spillages and conduct deep cleans when required.
