Job summary

React Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Factory Cleaner Operative to cover annual leave at New Hythe Business Park (ME20). The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm (37.5 hours per week) with a PAYE rate of £13.50 per hour and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include cleaning non-office areas, site maintenance, waste management, spill response, and deep cleans as needed. Boots or shoes and appropriate work wear are required, with the ability to lift up to 30 kg.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to bend and lift with ease.
• Able to operate hand tools safely.

The Factory Cleaner Operative will –

• Maintenance tasks both inside and outside the building (general site upkeep-cutting of hedges, weed control and general grounds care etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness across non-office areas including walkways, platforms, and walls.
• Manage waste disposal: empty bins and ensure correct allocation and segregation.
• Respond to site spillages and conduct deep cleans when required.
