Job summary

GreensafeIT, an IT recycler and services provider, is seeking an Operational Cleaner for our Berry Hill site in Droitwich. In this role you will support the Facilities team by carrying out routine cleaning across warehouse, office, welfare and communal areas to maintain a safe, tidy and welcoming environment.

You will clean floors, restrooms, empty bins, disinfect high-touch surfaces and respond quickly to spills or cleaning requirements, following schedules and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable and consistent approach to work.
• Awareness of health and safety, including PPE where required.

Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse, office, welfare and communal areas to a high standard.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

Salary: National Minimum wage dependant on age

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 08:00am - 13:00pm - Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Operational Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming working environment at our Berry Hill site in Droitwich.

In this hands-on role, you will support the Facilities team by carrying out routine cleaning across warehouse, office, welfare and communal areas. You will help keep operational spaces tidy, hygienic and safe, including cleaning floors, restrooms, emptying bins, disinfecting high-touch surfaces and responding quickly to minor spills or cleaning requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse, office, welfare and communal areas to a high standard.
• Use cleaning equipment, including a push-along floor cleaning machine, safely and effectively.
• Empty waste and recycling bins and dispose of materials correctly.
• Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, handrails, switches and shared equipment.
• Keep walkways, entrances, loading areas and accessible warehouse spaces clean and clear.
• Follow cleaning schedules, checklists, health and safety guidance and site procedures.
• Report hazards, maintenance issues or equipment concerns to the Facilities team.
• Monitor cleaning and hygiene supplies and request replenishment when needed.

Competencies & Behaviours

You will be dependable, practical and comfortable working in an operational environment. You will take pride in doing a thorough job, follow instructions carefully and work well as part of a team.

Previous cleaning experience would be helpful, but a positive attitude, reliability and a commitment to health and safety are just as important.
