Job summary

Highland Residential seeks a proactive Factoring Officer to deliver professional factoring and communal areas services across the Highlands. You will work with owners and residents’ committees, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.

The role requires a strong background in factoring or property management, with a focus on customer service and financial analysis. Hybrid working is available, with site visits across the Highlands.

Qualifications

• Experience in factoring or property management and delivering excellent customer service.
• Professional factoring qualification or building-related discipline, or willingness to undertake a relevant qualification.
• Solid understanding of Scottish Factoring legislation including Code of Conduct for Factors.
• Familiarity with Written Statement of Service and Deed of Conditions.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements.
• Ability to demonstrate proficient financial analysis and reporting capabilities.

Contract Terms: 35 hours per week (full time), permanent
Salary: £36,690 - £40,109 per annum, Grade F4 - F1 + car allowanceof £1,444 per annum. Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.
Location: Invergordon with hybrid working (a mix of office and remote working, along with site visits across the Highlands).

Interview Date: Thursday, 1stOctober

About the Role

Highland Residential is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Factoring Officer to provide a professional residential factoring and communal areas service to private fully factored owners, clients and residents’ committees complying with legislation, internal policies, and procedures.

About You

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and customer-focused individual with a strong background in Factoring or Property Management. To thrive in this role, you will need to have a proven track record in delivering a Factoring or Property Management service to a variety of clients.

We’re looking for someone with…

• Experience within factoring or property management roles and delivering excellent customer services.
• An appropriate professional factoring qualification or building related discipline, or willing to undertake a relevant qualification
• Good understanding of Scottish Factoring legislation including Code of Conduct for Factors.
• Good understanding of Written Statement of Service and Deed of Conditions.
• Good understanding of safety and compliance requirements.
• The ability to demonstrate proficient financial analysis skills and analytic reporting capabilities.
