Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Assistant - Driver to support patient movement and routine transport tasks at Rampton Hospital. The role requires a valid UK manual driving licence and flexibility to cover a 24/7 service with on-call duties.

You will primarily drive for patient transfers and support the Transport and Portering Departments, with additional duties in stores and waste management as required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Be available for on-call rotations with a quick response.
• A Group 2 Medical and DVLA check will be arranged by the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to hospitals, prisons, courts and other destinations.
• Support the Portering Department in stores delivery and collection around the hospital.
• Work in the waste management centre as needed; driving duties take priority.
