Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Assistant – Porter to join the busy Facilities Team at Wathwood Hospital. You will support across the hospital in transporting, delivering and collecting equipment, furniture, and provisions, helping keep wards supplied and safe.

Full training is provided; prior porter experience is desirable but not essential. Core hours are 7.30am–2pm and 11.30am–6pm. Salary £25,272 per annum (pro rata for part time).

Qualifications

• Experience as a Porter in a hospital environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be given.
• Able to transport, move and handle hospital equipment, furniture and provisions safely.

Responsibilities

• Transporting, delivering and collecting hospital equipment, furniture, stationery and provisions.
• Safe movement of linen to wards and departments.
• Management and rotation of stock and locking/unlocking gates for deliveries.
