Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Facilities Assistant – Porter at Wathwood Hospital. The role involves supporting the Facilities Team with transport, delivery and collection of hospital equipment, furniture and supplies.

Core hours include 7.30am-2pm and 11.30am-6pm, with training provided. The post requires reliability, basic numeracy and literacy, and a willingness to undertake mandatory training and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, catering, cleaning or portering is beneficial
• Ability to follow schedules, method statements and procedures
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training and DBS check
• Basic health and safety awareness

Responsabilités

• Transporting, delivering and collecting hospital equipment and furniture
• Move linen, supplies and pharmacy items across wards and departments
• Manage stock rotation and secure premises during deliveries
• Lock/unlock gates for deliveries and maintain service quality
