Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust seeks flexible Facilities Technicians (Portering) to move patients, waste and items across LGI and St James's Hospital. Roles are permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) with a variable shift pattern including earlies, lates, nights and weekends.

Successful candidates will join a facilities operations team, using LTHT IT systems, and may perform catering, cleaning, portering, reception, logistics and traffic management tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Permanent vacancies for Facilities Technicians to work as Porters.
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week with a variable rota.
• A full enhanced DBS check will be required for all roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide portering services for patients, transporting them to and from clinical areas.
• Move waste and other items around the site and perform ad-hoc duties as required.
• Support catering, cleaning, receptions, logistics and traffic management across Trust sites.
