Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle in Ascot is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to maintain, repair and improve our luxury care home. You will handle maintenance requests, provide preventative improvements, and ensure accurate records while following health and safety guidelines to minimise disruption for residents.

The role requires CSCS, a valid driving license, and training in PAT testing, manual handling, asbestos awareness, and COSHH, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving license and CSCS certification.
• Training in manual handling and PAT testing.
• Asbestos awareness, fire safety knowledge, and COSHH understanding.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and improve the home while minimizing disruption to residents.
• Carry out maintenance requests and preventative improvements.
• Perform PAT testing of electrical equipment and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to reduce risks.
• Complete tasks promptly and efficiently.
