Job summary

City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Facilities Technician for Trinity Academy in Edinburgh. The role supports day-to-day FM and janitorial tasks across the academy estate, performing basic maintenance, cleaning and security duties to keep buildings safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
• PVG Scheme or update check is required for the preferred candidate.
• Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required for time spent outside the UK in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day FM, janitorial and DIY operations across one or more buildings.
• Carry out small repairs, general maintenance and reactive cleaning.
• Support moves and conduct basic security functions.
