Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the Gilmerton Community Centre and other sites. You will carry out day-to-day FM, janitorial and basic DIY tasks, keeping premises safe, clean and well-maintained for staff and visitors.

You will work with flexible hours (10–36 per week, including term-time sessions on some posts) and have access to development opportunities, paid annual leave and a range of employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day FM, janitorial and DIY operations across one or more buildings.
• General maintenance, minor repairs and reactive cleaning.
• Support moves and basic security functions.
