Job summary

Brown-Forman Corporation in Scotland seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee routine maintenance across three distilleries, visitor centers and warehouses. You will lead sprinkler maintenance and support legislative compliance.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will plan maintenance activities, work with external contractors, ensure accurate documentation, and uphold safety and regulatory standards such as COMAH and DSEAR.

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing maintenance in a production environment.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A strong willingness and ability to learn new skills.
• A strong understanding of safety in production and warehousing environments.
• A solid understanding of regulatory frameworks such as COMAH and DSEAR.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sprinkler maintenance program and support legislative compliance across sites.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities in coordination with the Distilleries Management team.
• Collaborate with external contractors when on-site support is required.
• Prepare and review risk assessments and work instructions for maintenance and facilities tasks.
• Ensure all maintenance paperwork is accurately recorded and maintained on the maintenance and compliance systems.
