Job summary

Equans is recruiting a Facilities Supervisor to lead the cleaning teams at HMCTS Harrow Crown Court. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service across a large government contract, reporting to the Area Facilities Manager.

This full-time role is Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 with some early starts, evenings or weekend cover. BPSS vetting and DBS clearance are required; travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience of industry/public cleaning services (essential).
  • Previous experience of supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations (essential).
  • COSHH Knowledge (desirable).
  • Understand basic health and safety principles.
  • Able to motivate a cleaning team to attain a consistent specified standard of cleaning.
  • Previous experience of effectively leading remote teams.
  • Good communication and customer care skills.
  • Team player demonstrating a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload with limited supervision.
  • Basic knowledge on IT and Microsoft office systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cleaning teams to maintain high hygiene standards and safety.
  • Supervise across HMCTS sites to ensure professional service.
  • Cover travel across the region and occasional early starts, evenings or weekend shifts.
  • Report to Area Facilities Manager.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £30,000.00 - £33,500.00 per annum depending on experience and benefits package.Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700What will you deliver?Reporting to the area facilities Manager you will be the leading the cleaning teams for their HMCTS site that keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public.As a facilities Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising our cleaning teams to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and customer service is maintained across our large-scale government contract.This is a Monday - Friday role, however there is some element of flexibility required with early starts, evening, and weekends. The role requires covering a region and therefore must be able to travel.For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essentialBPSS Quick GuideIn order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
