Job summary

Ilmor is seeking an experienced Facilities / Site Services Manager on an initial fixed term contract of up to 12 months. You will ensure the site is well maintained, manage building services (HVAC, electrical) and coordinate contractors to uphold safety and operational standards.

In this role you will support manufacturing activities, drive site improvements, and maintain robust records. A collaborative, hands-on environment with a family feel awaits.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing contractors and external service providers.
• Experience in facilities, engineering or site services within a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of building services and site infrastructure.
• Health & safety knowledge (NEBOSH or similar would be ideal).

Responsibilities

• Taking full ownership of facilities across the site
• Being first point of contact for site related concerns
• Managing building services and utilities including HVAC, electrical and general infrastructure
• Coordinating contractors and ensuring safe systems of work
• Supporting and coordinating both reactive and preventative maintenance to ensure asset reliability and minimal downtime
• Working closely with operations to minimise disruption and support manufacturing activity
• Overseeing site services including general facilities and workplace areas
• Supporting health & safety compliance, audits and risk assessments
• Contributing to site improvements, upgrades and ongoing development projects
• Introducing structure, processes and more effective ways of working
• Supporting site response where required, including out of hours support if required
• Keeping strong records and contract management of provisioned services
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
• Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance
• Work closely with contractors to deliver high standards of work
• Hands-on approach
