Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Commercial is seeking a Facilities Manager for a Bristol-based, 12-month fixed term contract. The role involves managing facilities operations across multiple sites, delivering safe, efficient workplaces, and leading a small team while coordinating with contractors and service partners.

Flexibility is key as the role may involve travel between sites. You will oversee health & safety compliance, budgets and improvements, with a hands-on leadership style and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven facilities management experience within a corporate environment.
• Strong contractor and supplier management skills.
• Experience overseeing multiple sites or regional operations.
• A practical, hands-on leadership style.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth running of facilities operations predominantly in Bristol, but also to other sites outside of Bristol.
• Manage external suppliers, contractors and service partners to ensure consistently high standards
• Lead facilities projects and workplace improvements with minimal disruption to employees and visitors
• Drive compliance across health & safety, building services and statutory requirements
• Monitor budgets, service delivery and operational performance
• Provide leadership and support to a small facilities team
• Act as the key point of contact for workplace–related issues and improvements
