Job summary

Woolmer Hill School is seeking a proactive Site Manager to oversee the school premises, ensure safety, security and compliance, and coordinate with contractors on site.

You will manage maintenance planning, budget oversight, and supervise caretaking and cleaning activities while liaising with the Principal and external agencies to sustain a safe, well-kept environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or site management within a school or similar environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Ability to plan maintenance works and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building development, maintain premises, and plan new works.
• Liaise with external agencies, contractors and oversee on-site works.
• Monitor tickets via the site work request log and ensure timely responses.
• Supervise cleaning staff and coordinate with external contracts.
• Maintain security, CCTV, alarms and adapt to health and safety guidelines.
• Manage stock, budgets, repairs, and procure furniture or equipment.
