Job summary

London Youth is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead safety, facilities and estate management at Hindleap Warren, with a monthly visit to our London Office. You will also mentor and advise the onsite facilities team and ensure buildings, grounds and systems are safe, compliant, efficient and sustainable.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery; NEBOSH General and relevant management qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering safe and effective work on customer-facing premises and grounds.
• Experience leading high performing teams to deliver in line with organisational needs.
• Experience working across multiple sites and coordinating cross-site teams.
• Qualifications in facilities/estates management and health & safety (NEBOSH General is essential).
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels and train others in health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of all Facilities Management services (M&E, fabric, cleaning, grounds, waste, pest control, external contractors).
• Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance programme to keep buildings compliant, safe and fit for purpose.
• Procure and manage services, evaluate contracts and value-for-money.
• Assist in budgeting for estates, facilities and health & safety with senior leaders.
• Line manage and develop the facilities team, including 121s and appraisals.
