Facilities Project Lead – Live Research Campus

Job summary

The Norwich BioScience Institutes seeks an experienced FM Project Lead to deliver a diverse portfolio of facilities and infrastructure projects across NBIP and partner institutes. You will guide projects from feasibility through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover into BAU, ensuring delivery against time, cost, quality and safety targets.

Responsibilities include stakeholder leadership, procurement management, and ensuring seamless PTG handovers in live research

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, building services, construction or project management.
• Recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or higher).
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Certificate.
• Experience delivering construction/engineering/infrastructure projects in live environments.
• Experience with procurement, contracts, budgets and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of multiple projects from inception to handover.
• Establish baseline controls for programme, cost and quality with change control.
• Own forecasting, cost reporting and RAID management.
• Define routes to market; run tendering and contract administration.
• Coordinate interfaces, commissioning activities and handovers to minimise disruption.
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality across projects.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and line-manage FM project staff.
