Job summary

Northbrook College is seeking a Premises Officer to manage opening and closing of campus buildings, carry out caretaking and maintenance tasks, and support security and health and safety initiatives on site. Monday to Friday, mainly office hours.

The role offers ongoing training, a supportive environment, competitive salary with annual incremental progression, and generous holiday entitlement including bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in premises, maintenance, facilities or building services.
• Experience operating or monitoring fire and security systems.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance.
• GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
• Health & Safety awareness.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undertake First Aid training if not already qualified.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the college buildings (mainly closing in this role).
• Carry out day-to-day caretaking and planned maintenance duties.
• Support site security and health and safety activities.
• Monitor contractors working on site.
• Receive and distribute deliveries around campus.
• Move furniture and equipment as required.
