Morgan Hunt Recruitment is seeking a Facilities Operative for an FE college in East London. The role covers practical maintenance, facilities operations and day-to-day campus coordination, with the ability to deputise for the Facilities Manager during absences.

Candidates should have hands-on building maintenance experience, be comfortable coordinating tasks with contractors, and maintain accurate records while ensuring health, safety and safeguarding within an educational environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Enhanced DBS certificate on update service or willing to apply for DBS
• Hands-on building maintenance and facilities operations experience
• Ability to deputise for the Facilities Manager and manage day-to-day operations
• Comfort coordinating with contractors and maintaining records in an educational setting

Responsabilités

• Deputise for the Facilities Manager when unavailable and take operational decisions
• Perform general maintenance including minor repairs and repairs coordination
• Coordinate maintenance requests, planned maintenance and liaise with contractors
• Maintain records and provide operational updates to stakeholders
• Uphold health, safety and safeguarding policies in an educational environment
• Communicate professionally with staff, contractors and college stakeholders
