Job summary

Aga Khan Foundation seeks a Facilities Manager to lead and coordinate facilities services across the site, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment. You will manage reception, security, cleaning, and the FM plan, while supervising staff and external contractors.

The role requires strong stakeholder communication and hands-on problem solving. You will drive compliance with H&S policies, manage budgets, and coordinate with IT and external providers on core building services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Facilities Management or similar would be advantageous.
• Experience managing staff and third-party contractors.
• Experience with complex MEP systems and planned preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reception, security and cleaning teams.
• Manage FM Plan including hard/soft services and lifecycle replacements.
• Coordinate suppliers and allocate correct contractor for repairs.
• Maintain H&S documents and asset registers.
• Lead environmental and energy-saving initiatives.
• Support events and handle after-hours incidents.
• Develop and monitor SLAs, KPIs and risk registers.
