Job summary

Grosvenor Services is seeking a Facilities Officer (Hard Services) in Reading to support safe, compliant building operations. You will deliver non-technical PPM tasks, assist with reactive maintenance, and ensure facilities remain functional and compliant, acting as on-site representative for hard services.

You will coordinate with occupiers, contractors and service providers, maintain records, and support health, safety and environmental responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Facilities Management or Property Maintenance experience.
• Routine PPM inspection experience.
• Minor maintenance and repair experience.
• Understanding of statutory compliance requirements.
• CAFM system experience.
• Customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks and keep CAFM records up to date.
• Perform basic reactive maintenance and minor repairs to keep facilities functional.
• Support compliance requirements and assist with audits and safety checks.
• Escort and monitor contractors, ensuring on-site safety and adherence to permits.
• Provide timely customer updates and maintain a high standard of service.
