Job summary

Evolve Talent Search Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider on a high-profile commercial contract in Greater London. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-site duties across mechanical plant and building services.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, rectify faults promptly, and adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments while keeping thorough records and coordinating with subcontractors and client

Qualifications

• Formal training in a mechanical engineering discipline (HVAC, Plumbing, or similar).
• City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 2 in a relevant mechanical engineering field

Responsibilities

• Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance across all mechanical plant in line with site schedules and asset lists.
• Ensure plant faults and defects are swiftly rectified to maintain operational efficiency.
• Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of all reactive, breakdown, and maintenance work.
• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Supervise subcontractor work as needed and ensure all H&S and contractual standards are met.
• Keep plant rooms secure, clean, and tidy at all times.
