Job summary

British Land is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee two London sites in a hybrid working model (4 days in office). You will lead day‑to‑day operations, act as main contact for occupiers, contractors and service providers, and ensure a safe, efficient environment.

The role covers office and retail spaces, managing M&E services, building management, energy use, and the annual service charge budgets. You will translate the property strategy into practical, cost‑efficient delivery while

Qualifications

• Experience of operational management of multi-occupied building.
• Ownership of complete engineering and electronic security service delivery.
• Engineering Management and managerial capabilities.
• Financial management and budgeting experience.
• Health & Safety compliance knowledge.
• Tendering and contractor management.
• Basic IT skills applied to facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across two London sites and act as main contact for occupiers, contractors and service providers.
• Manage the building’s M&E services contract and on‑site engineering operations with facilities management teams and specialists.
• Monitor utility consumption, analyse data, and develop plans to reduce usage.
• Coordinate annual service charge budgets and ensure adherence to programmes.
• Promote Health & Safety and safe working practices and act as Responsible Person and Senior Fire Warden as required.
