Job summary

St Catherine’s CE Primary School in Larkhill, England, invites applications for a Facilities Manager. This full‑time, permanent role leads the site team, oversees contractors and ensures our buildings and grounds are safe, secure and well maintained.

You will report to the School Business Manager, work 37 hours per week, and join us from 22 March 2027. Closing date for applications is 2 October 2026 with interviews on 9 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management or site supervision is desirable.
• Ability to lead a small team and coordinate external contractors.
• Strong organisational and safety management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the School site team and oversee external contractors.
• Ensure the buildings and grounds are safe, secure and well maintained.
• Oversee statutory premises compliance and health and safety standards.
• Manage maintenance schedules, cleaning contracts, and building services.
• Liaise with school leadership on facilities-related planning and emergencies.
