Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the efficient and compliant delivery of facilities management services across a portfolio of school sites.

You’ll support the Contract Manager in meeting contractual obligations, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and within budget. Qualifications

• Requires a relevant facilities management qualification with evidence of CPD.
• Strong knowledge of contractual compliance, health and safety, utilities and lifecycle management.
• Experience in managing budgets and driving operational performance in FM environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support site-based teams to deliver FM services across school sites in line with contractual requirements and Mitie standards.
• Maintain compliance with statutory, contractual, H&S and safeguarding obligations through audits and record keeping.
• Manage budgets, subcontractors, procurement, variations and additional works to support contract profitability.
• Coordinate planned preventative maintenance, lifecycle works and projects with minimal disruption to school users.
• Monitor service performance, resolve client complaints and produce monthly/ad-hoc reports for client and Contract Manager.

We're looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the efficient and compliant delivery of facilities management services across a portfolio of school sites.

You’ll support the Contract Manager in meeting contractual obligations, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and within budget.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and support site-based teams to deliver facilities management services in line with contractual requirements, service level agreements and Mitie standards.
• Maintain statutory, contractual, health and safety, and safeguarding compliance through regular site visits, audits and accurate record keeping.
• Manage budgets, subcontractors, procurement, variations and additional works to achieve value for money and support contract profitability.
• Coordinate planned preventative maintenance, lifecycle works and projects while minimising disruption to school users.
• Monitor service performance, resolve complaints and produce accurate monthly and ad hoc reports for the client and Contract Manager.

A relevant facilities management qualification, supported by evidence of continuous professional development.

• Some technical knowledge within Mechanical and/or Electrical backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of contractual compliance, health and safety, utilities and lifecycle management.
