Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property in South East London is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead a busy Build-to-Rent development, overseeing technical services, safety and budget control. You will manage on-site engineers and external contractors across M&E, HVAC, Lifts, Fire Safety, BMS and Access Control, driving compliance, audits and lifecycle maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6+ years FM experience in high-density residential or commercial environments, IOSH Managing

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years FM experience in high-density residential, mixed-use, or commercial property.
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate required.
• Electrical/Mechanical qualifications; IWFM or RICS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, reactive repairs and plant room operations.
• Supervise on-site engineers and external contractor teams (M&E, HVAC, Lifts, Fire Alarm, BMS, Access Control).
• Conduct technical audits and quality checks on maintenance works.
• Manage small works, lifecycle maintenance and asset replacements from spec to sign-off.
• Drive 100% statutory compliance across building systems and maintain CAFM records.
