An overview of the role

To assist with the efficient management and maintenance of the company’s premises. Occasional travel to Open GI's UK offices may be required.

Your key responsibilities

  • Management of office leases
  • Managing the facilities budget and Capex budget
  • Building and grounds maintenance
  • Procurement and contract management for facilities services
  • Management of office security and security contract
  • Project management, supervision, and coordination of contractors
  • Direction and coordination of essential services such as health and safety, security, maintenance, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
  • Completion of relevant risk assessments, method statements policies and procedures
  • Completing the Environmental elements within the ESG Working Group to ensure ESOS and SECR compliancy
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences
  • Liaise with overseas office managers with regard to workplace environment, utilities, leases and employee safety
  • Regular travel across UK sites and occasional overseas travel
  • Coordinating health and safety, first aid and mental health training with external providers
  • Emergency call outs as and when required

Qualifications

  • Full valid driving licence
  • Health and Safety certification (desirable)

Experience

  • Experience of facilities management on a multi-site level
  • Experience of managing third party contracts and contractors
  • Experience of managing health and safety activities
