Job summary

Adi Group in Towcester, Northamptonshire, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead hard facilities management services onsite. You will be the main contact for Site Managers, Engineering Teams, customers, and stakeholders, ensuring safe and compliant delivery.

The role requires managing infrastructure, utilities, PPM, reactive maintenance, and minor works, while leading energy-saving initiatives and contractor collaborations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract and technical management for hard services.
• Skilled in managing planned and reactive work orders across multiple sites.
• Experience in managing energy savings initiatives.
• Proficient in contractor management, as well as commercial and compliance/site monitoring.
• Background in the food manufacturing or distribution industry.
• Experience in managing engineering personnel.
• Strong client relationship skills with a proven track record in direct client interactions.
• Capable of motivating and leading teams, setting a positive example.
• Experienced in identifying, costing, quoting, and executing additional minor works.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of all hard facilities management services across the site.
• Lead the management of site infrastructure, utilities, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and minor works projects to ensure operational reliability.
• Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for all facilities management activities.
• Manage site budgets, financial forecasting, performance reporting, and contract delivery to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
• Identify opportunities for service improvements, cost savings, and additional works, preparing quotations and overseeing project delivery.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of hard facilities management services across our customer site. As the Facilities Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational delivery of facilities management services, acting as the key point of contact for Site Managers, Engineering Teams, customers, and other stakeholders.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
