Job description

Facilities Manager or Centre Manager
London (one day hybrid)
£50,000

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Facilities Manager or Centre Manager to oversee our client's London Office. This hands-on role involves managing all aspects of office operations, vendor relations, compliance, and space planning to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily operations and maintenance
  2. Act as the main liaison with serviced office providers and building management
  3. Oversee contractors, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  4. Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire safety, and building regulations
  5. Lead office moves, seating arrangements, and space optimization projects
  6. Monitor and manage the facilities budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities
  7. Manage supplier contracts (cleaning, security, maintenance, etc.)
  8. Implement and test emergency plans to ensure safety and compliance
  9. Promote sustainability initiatives such as recycling, energy efficiency, and waste reduction

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
  • Understanding of H&S legislation and facilities management best practices
  • Experience overseeing office/building operations and managing vendor relationships

Additional Details:

  • Location: London
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (37.5 hours/week)
