Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth offers an internship within Facilities Management and Real Estate. The placement runs for 12 months with a start date of 19 July 2027, and applications close on 25 October 2026.

You will support day-to-day operations, refurbishment projects, biodiversity efforts, catering quality, safety actions and VIP events. The role focuses on General Services activities, coordinating with internal and external partners to maintain a high standard of service

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in Business, Project Management, Administration, Operations or Finance
• Demonstrate an interest for project management
• The ability to work independently when required
• Willingness to travel within the UK as part of the placement (expenses covered)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both in person and remotely
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multinational environment

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of safe operations at a manufacturing facility
• Support supplier performance reviews
• Plan and take ownership of weekly & monthly activities
• Meet and work with stakeholders from across the business
• Manage and improve services and suppliers to ensure delivery on time, quality and cost
