Job summary

Brightwork Limited is recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Operative in Coatbridge. The role supports the Facilities team by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fabrication activities and site improvements to keep buildings and grounds safe and well-maintained.

Key duties include planned preventative maintenance, repairs, grounds upkeep, reporting issues, and operating forklift movements. A full UK driving licence and forklift licence are essential; welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Full UK driving license is required.
Valid forklift licence is required.
Experience using power and hand-tools.
Prior experience in a similar maintenance/facilities role.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks.
Undertaking reactive maintenance and repairs to buildings, facilities and equipment.
Supporting upkeep of site, including grounds maintenance and landscaping activities.
Reporting maintenance issues and identifying opportunities for preventative action.
Assembly and installation of equipment and fixtures across the site.
Fabrication tasks including welding, grinding, cutting, and other power-tool related tasks.
Assisting with modifications and repairs where needed.
Operating forklift trucks to move materials where needed.
