Qualifications

• Erfahrung in der Lebensmittelproduktion ist von Vorteil.

Facilities Maintenance Technician, Lichfield, GBP34,000

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued efficient and safe running of the water treatment plant, factory, and site grounds. Working rotating double day Panama shifts, you ll cover general repairs and maintenance tasks.

Facilities Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Conduct routine checks of the plant and water (hourly/daily/weekly).
• Perform maintenance on cooling towers, including sampling and chemical replenishment.
• General maintenance and DIY tasks.
• Maintain site trailers to ensure roadworthiness.
• Complete all necessary Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks.
• Report any issues with the water treatment plant to management promptly.

Skills & Experience Required

• Ideally, have qualifications related to water treatment and/or maintenance.
• Have knowledge of Water Treatment Plants, preferably in a food production environment.
• Understand the supply and control of animal feed.
• Be able to operate a yard tractor and trailer unit.
• Have high attention to detail for observation and recording tasks.
• Legionella and Confined Space Awareness is highly desirable.
• Hold a valid driving licence.
