Job summary

Simon Community Scotland is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance, safety protocols, and property infrastructure across sites. The role blends hands-on tasks with coordination of contractors, budgeting, and ensuring cost-effective operation.

You will work with the Corporate Services team and residents to maintain high safety standards, deliver preventative maintenance, and support the organisation’s mission to provide safe housing and services across Scotland.

Qualifications

• Operational and professional experience in the facilities management sector.
• UK drivers licence.
• Experience in a similar property/facilities maintenance role.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of properties.
• Reactive repairs and safety checks.
• PAT testing and Legionella testing.
• Oversee quotes, contracts and cost efficiency.
• Manage site access, permits and sign-offs for major works.
• Maintain site-wide safety standards and COSHH compliance.
