Job summary

A Maintenance/Facilities Manager role based in Gloucester for a charity focused on wellbeing. You will oversee buildings across Gloucestershire, ensuring they are well maintained, clean and safe, with responsibility for cleaners, caretaking, safety, fleets and IT coordination.

The position requires strong organisational and communication skills, plus the ability to drive facilities improvements and liaise with funders and staff across programmes.

Responsibilities

• Management of the cleaners and caretaker who care for the buildings.
• Maintain health and safety across all our sites.
• Maintain the fleet of vehicles ensuring a good safe condition.
• Liaise with the IT provider to ensure that requirements are met.
• Assess the IT function and contribute to its future development.
• Undertake tendering for facilities resources.
• Maintain an environmental strategy and approach in relation to buildings and vehicles.
• Liaise with funders, commissioners, and key personnel to manage programmes and projects.
• Undertake best practice sessions with staff to enable development and continuous improvement.
