Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Facilities Team Leader in Evesham to oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate the facilities team, and maintain high safety and service standards. You will lead maintenance activities, manage contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement while supporting budgeting and resource planning.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
  • Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Competent IT skills for maintaining records and using facilities systems.
  • Relevant qualification in facilities management, building services, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Relevant certifications in health and safety (for example, IOSH or NEBOSH) are desirable.
  • Working knowledge of compliance and statutory maintenance requirements for commercial sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the facilities team to ensure efficient site operations.
  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring issues are logged, prioritised, and resolved promptly.
  • Support compliance with health and safety requirements, working practices, and site procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and site areas, identifying risks and driving corrective actions.
  • Manage supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring work is completed to required standards and within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records for maintenance, inspections, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with budgeting and resource planning for facilities-related activities where required.
  • Ensure facilities services meet agreed service levels, responding effectively to site needs and escalations.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and ensure team members follow safe systems of work.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and customer experience.
